Proviene de ganaderías del sur de Brasil (Rio Grande do Sul) y se somete a un innovador proceso de curtido sin cromo, metales pesados ni ácidos peligrosos. Al simplificar el proceso de curtido, se minimizan el uso de químicos y energía, se reduce el consumo de agua en un 40% y el uso de sal en un 80%. Tras el curtido, el agua es reciclable.
